This controller offers extended foot control for your Digitech Whammy 5 (not included) by way of a standard 5-pin Midi cable (not included). This device acts just like turning the program knob to the left or right with the left and right footswitches respectively, a quick press of the high quality soft touch footswitches gives you the action of a knob turn one step left or right.. or hold the footswitch down to scroll quickly to your desired setting! With a memory of it's own, the mantis also allows for previously impossible settings jumps using the PINCER mode setting and the center footswitch to store and recall a preset position! Also has a STALK mode for engaging the bypass in case you keep your whammy off your board or just want to scroll through presets without audible changes before reengaging, all this in a heavy duty enclosure with no annoying programming or computers required! Just plug it in and let the mantis take control!
